I had been playing with 30.00 "just pick a paddle," since I started last August. I kept saying, "I'll never be able to get new paddle because I'm not spending money on something I can't try out." Just so happens, a pickle person I play with had a 6.0 Double Diamond and graciously all allowed to borrow for a week! I loved it! I hesitated with price, but Six Zero is gracious with their honoring the military --I used my discount.
Let me tell you, for those that say that a paddle doesn't make a difference --it does. I know I'm not even using to full potential, but it can't be a coincidence that last week, I was playing at new level and on my game!!! That was what others were telling me. My shots with velocity are sharper than ever. My backhands are better but the power now --I seem to be hitting way too long now. I will have to adjust to that (again, I'm casual player). I love the handle too, way more cushion for firm grip.
Plus, just the aesthetics of this paddle are great --love the PINK 😎 Overall, pricy but worth it. Time will tell, but I'm better and feel I have way more control over my shots.

I was a bit concerned that I would lose some touch and forgiveness of the 16mm. The 14 mm turned out to be one of my best decisions. It still gives me the touch and feel of the 16mm. The biggest difference is the quicker hand speed that I have at the kitchen and greater put-away power and control. I am so glad I made the change. Both paddles are great, but I would recommend the 16mm for newer players and graduate to the 14mm later if needed. 👍

Mike (Houston, US) I love my DBD. I've been playing since last year and I've tried several different paddles prior to this one. This is a very forgiving paddle, but still performs with plenty of power. My placement has improved dramatically. My hand speed is one of the better parts of my game and I like playing up at the net. So I wanted to take advantage of a lighter weight paddle to see if I could build on what I was doing. Honestly, it doesn't feel much lighter. I can't tell the difference in which is heavier when holding two paddles. I have noticed my hand speed seems to have increased as well. This paddle is the best price on the market for the quality after using discount (Alpha10). I highly recommend to anyone who wants to improve their game.

LHH (Portland, US) Just received my two DBD paddles with different color. Overall they are great, easy to control. However I noticed that the surfaces feel different; one is apparently rougher than the other. Do not buy the cherry blossom pink with the black edge.

All my playing partners are talking about the power of my drives and serves. The soft game was the area that I had the most adjustment, but it’s really coming along. So glad I pulled the trigger!
