Six Zero Welcomes Blaine Hovenier to the Team
Six Zero Pickleball is proud to welcome Blaine Hovenier to the Six Zero athlete roster.
Raised in Los Angeles and now based in Dallas, Texas, Blaine has quickly emerged as one of the most exciting competitors in professional pickleball. He is currently ranked Top 25 in both PPA Men’s and Mixed Doubles, holds the title of #1 Canadian male pickleball player, and serves as Captain of the SoCal Hard 8s in Major League Pickleball.
Before stepping onto the pro pickleball stage, Blaine built a strong foundation through five years of collegiate tennis. He competed for four years at UCLA before completing a fifth year at SMU, where he also earned a Master’s degree in Finance. Watching other college tennis players successfully transition into professional pickleball sparked his interest in the sport and set him on the path he’s on today.
That transition has been anything but slow. During the 2025 MLP season, Blaine was named DUPR’s Most Improved Player and led the league in underdog wins. The recognition reflects both his competitive edge and his ability to lead in high-pressure moments, qualities that consistently show up in his game.
At Six Zero, we partner with athletes who value performance, precision, and constant progression. Blaine’s approach to the game aligns closely with our commitment to innovation and building equipment designed for players who are always looking to take the next step.
As this season kicks off, Blaine is setting his sights on earning his first PPA medal, a milestone we believe will be the first of many. We’re excited to support his growth and have him represent Six Zero as he continues competing at the highest level.
Welcome to the team, Blaine.
