For the two years I've been playing I've bumped up the power with each paddle replacement. Nine months ago I switched from another well-known brand to the 6.0 BD Infinity (16mm). Liked it a lot. Three months ago I went to the BD Power (14 mm). No regrets. A little more power, nice sweet spot, and no noticeable loss of control in the BD 14. And the spin potential stays with you for a good while with these 6.0 paddles...unlike the spray on surface texture of the previous paddle brand I was using.

The BD lineup are better and more durable paddles at about 50% of the cost of my previous paddles.

In three months' time I'll be ready for a new paddle. I'll probably stick with the Six Zero BD 14.

I used it this Sunday for the first time for 3 straight hours. It was a game changer. It was so great for all performances including playability, spin, control, sweet spot and power.

This is my third Double Black Diamond. I’ve loved my first two so much when I saw the Black Friday deal I couldn’t resist. My last one is six months old and I felt I lost some top spin so I got another one. I used it for about six points and hated it so I went back to my old paddle. A week later I tried it again, hated it after four points. Went back to my old paddle. Still love that one. I have a friend going to Florida for a tournament and likes my DBD paddle so I let her take it. This will make me get use to my new DBD paddle. I used it today for two hours and hate it. It has an awful sweet spot unlike my older one and no pop what so ever. It even sounds dead. This paddle is not even close to the same as my previous two DND paddles. They are all three the exact same model but this last one is so disappointing. I cannot play with it. I got all three of them from Six Zero’s website. I have to have gotten a bad one. I don’t know where to go from here.
