The Story Behind the Flying Frenchman
Jay Devilliers grew up one of six kids in a small town in France, a long way from a sport that didn't really exist yet. He had a tennis racket in his hand before he could spell the word career, and a dream that everyone around him was quietly unsure about. Decades later, he's one of the most recognizable players in pro pickleball. But the road there is not the one you see on the broadcast. That's the road we wanted to film.
The Flying Frenchman is a short documentary about the parts of Jay's life the highlight reel doesn't catch. The 8 to 3 grind before he switches into dad mode. The family back home who weren't sure about this whole pickleball thing when he first picked up a paddle. The setback he didn't see coming, and how close he came to walking away. It's also about what pulled him back. His faith, his family, the version of himself he's still chasing, and a community he's helping grow all the way back home in France.

It's why Jay plays, why he's here, and why he fits this team. Always trying his best. Always chasing what's next. On court, off court, as a father, as a husband, in his faith. That mindset is what Six Zero is built on, and it's the spirit behind every paddle that leaves our floor.
We're proud to have Jay in the Six Zero family. His story is one worth knowing, and the dream is still going. If you want to get on the court and chase yours, start with the gear Jay trusts.
