Six Zero Welcomes Gabe Joseph to the Team
Six Zero Pickleball is proud to announce the signing of Gabe Joseph, one of the most dynamic and accomplished players in professional pickleball today. Currently ranked inside the world’s Top 10, Gabe represents exactly what Six Zero stands for: confidence under pressure, creativity in motion, and a relentless drive to keep pushing what high performance looks like on the court.
This is a partnership built on shared values. Precision. Individuality. And the belief that the best players never stop evolving.
Built by Sport, Shaped by Style
Raised in West Hills, California, Gabe’s athletic foundation was set early. He stepped onto a tennis court at just four years old under the guidance of his father and never looked back. From tennis and paddle tennis on Venice Beach to baseball and basketball, Gabe grew up as a true multi-sport athlete. That background still shows today in the way he moves, anticipates, and competes.
Influenced by athletes like Allen Iverson and Nick Kyrgios, and grounded in hip-hop culture, Gabe plays with a rare mix of swagger and substance. His game is expressive but controlled. Creative but disciplined. He does not play to blend in, and he never has.
From Tennis to the Top of Pickleball
Gabe earned multiple college tennis scholarship opportunities before choosing California State University, Northridge, where he completed his degree in Family Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in Nutrition and Dietetics. That understanding of the body and performance has translated directly into how he trains, competes, and sustains a long professional career.
He discovered pickleball in late 2018 through fellow professionals. What followed was anything but slow.
By 2019, Gabe entered competitive play, earning multiple medals at the 4.5 and 5.0 levels while going undefeated in singles. With the launch of the PPA Tour in 2020, he quickly established himself among the sport’s elite. At the first-ever PPA event in February 2020, Gabe finished fourth, defeating Kyle Yates, Frank Anthony Davis, and Dan Roditi before falling to Ben Johns in the semifinals.
Later that same year, he earned his first PPA Silver Medal in Newport Beach, pushing Ben Johns to three games after wins over Jay Devilliers, Zane Navratil, Tyson McGuffin, Kyle Yates, and Frank Anthony Davis. He finished 2020 ranked fifth in the world.
A Career Defined by Consistency at the Top
Gabe reached a career-high world ranking of number four in 2021 and finished Top 5 in singles in both 2020 and 2021. His resume includes wins over many of the sport’s biggest names, including Ben Johns, Federico Staksrud, Tyson McGuffin, Christian Alshon, Connor Garnett, Hunter Johnson, and Jack Sock.
His professional timeline speaks for itself:
-
2021: APP Silver at the LA Open, Gold at the APP SoCal Classic, career-high ranking of #4
-
2022: APP LA Open Gold, APP Mesa Bronze, strong PPA finishes
-
2023: First PPA Gold at the Takeya Showcase, three PPA quarterfinals
-
2024: Four PPA quarterfinal appearances, year-end ranking of #17
-
2025: Best season of his career with six PPA quarterfinals, three PPA finals in Bristol, Sacramento, and Daytona, and a year-end ranking of #8 in the world
This is not a player who flashes once and fades. This is sustained excellence.
Leading On and Off the Court
Beyond competition, Gabe serves as Director of Pickleball at Calabasas Pickleball Club, one of the most prominent and luxurious pickleball clubs in the country. His role goes beyond coaching. He is actively shaping the next generation of players and helping grow the sport at both elite and grassroots levels.
Off the court, Gabe married his wife Neeka in October 2025. She has been a constant source of support throughout his professional journey. When he is not competing or coaching, Gabe is training, traveling, and continuing to raise the standard for what professional pickleball can be.
We are excited to welcome Gabe to the Six Zero family and to support him as he continues competing at the highest level in the sport.
This is just the beginning. Go Next Level.
