Six Zero Junior Athlete: Aadit
Rising Star: Meet Aadit, a Future Force in Pickleball
At just 9 years old, Aadit is already making a name for himself on the pickleball court and turning heads while he’s at it. A proud member of the Six Zero Pickleball family, Aadit plays with the energy, focus, and sportsmanship of someone well beyond his years. But more than anything, he plays with heart.
What started as a fun activity quickly turned into something much more. For Aadit, pickleball isn’t just about dinks, drives, or cross-court winners. It’s about connection.
“I love that I can play with friends of all ages,” he says. “Every game is full of energy, laughter, and encouragement. Pickleball isn’t just a sport, it’s like being part of a big, supportive family.”
That community has helped shape more than just his game. It’s helped shape his confidence. In just a few years, Aadit has blossomed into a self-assured, outgoing, and deeply motivated athlete. He trains five days a week, balances footwork drills and coaching sessions, and constantly works to sharpen his skills—including his favorite shot, the backhand roll speed-up, which he loves firing at his opponent’s feet.
Ask him his goals for the year, and he doesn’t hesitate. “I want to reach a DUPR of 4.25, compete in more tournaments, and keep learning and building my skills so I can play against stronger opponents.” That steady drive is paired with a huge dose of humility and gratitude. He’s quick to thank those who’ve helped him grow: his dad, his coach Juano, his friend Kelly, and even quicker to celebrate the game’s fun side. From ping pong battles with friends to his warm-up dink routine before every match, Aadit plays with joy.
Inspired By Greatness—And Giving Back
Aadit draws inspiration from some of the sport’s most dynamic players: Federico Staksrud, Anna Leigh Waters, Zane Ford, and Anna Bright. But it’s not just the pros who fuel his fire. “I really admire people who are curious and passionate about learning,” he says. “I want to be great on the court, but also keep growing off it.”
One match, in particular, showed just how much he’s grown. Down in the final game of a tough three-setter, Aadit kept his composure and trusted a mid-match strategy shift. That mental toughness led him to a bronze medal and more importantly, it proved to everyone watching that he has the mindset of a true competitor.
