I love my DBD! I've been playing since last year and I've tried several different paddles prior to this one. This is a very forgiving paddle, but still performs with plenty of power. My placement has improved dramatically. My hand speed is one of the better parts of my game and I like playing up at the net. So I wanted to take advantage of a lighter weight paddle to see if I could build on what I was doing. Honestly, it doesn't feel much lighter. I can't tell the difference in which is heavier when holding two paddles. I have noticed my hand speed seems to have increased as well. This paddle is the best price on the market for the quality after using discount (Alpha10). I highly recommend to anyone who wants to improve their game.

never disappoints

Have been using this paddle for a few weeks now and love it. More control off the face , more power returning the ball and has elevated my spin shots.

I'm a senior and have been playing 4 months. I tried several bands though ACE Pickleballs demo program and the Double Black Diamond gave me the best control so I bought one.

I own about 8 paddles and the 6.0 is by far is my favorite. Plenty of power and control. The paddle just feels right as the ball comes off with a solid hit.

This is my third DBD Control, and my first 14 mm. The first two I got were 16 mm. I love every one of them. I ordered the 14 mm to see if it would give me a little more power on drives and added pop on volleys and dinks. It delivered! So many of my friends have jumped on the 6.0 bandwagon!!!

Love my new paddle DBD CONTROL it has definitely enhanced my game, I just feel more confident with it in my hand. Knowing that I can make the shots that are going to win the point feels good. I've still got more to learn and perfect, but with this paddle I know that I can achieve the level of play that I want to reach.

Good balance between control and power.

I was using Franklin 16mm Dynasty FS Tour and really liked the control/softness of the core. Unfortunately that paddle is a bit on the heavy side, 8.7 oz, and it slow down my hand speed when there hand battle at the kitchen. This paddle is very similar to that of Franklin, but much lighter, around 8.0 oz. It have great control, easy to reset, great feel, exactly what I'm looking for. I'm happy with this purchase :).

Been through pickleball paddles the past year like there's no tomorrow, but I've finally found the one. Plenty of controlled power and great touch for dinking. I love it and need another in my bag immediately.
