Recently, we received a message from DNKD UP CREW, who proudly represented Six Zero at the National Corporate Games in Melbourne. Their words were filled with gratitude, pride, and belief in what can happen when people rally behind one another.
They did not just compete.
They achieved first, second, and third place nationally. A complete podium sweep at one of Australia’s leading corporate pickleball events.
But the most powerful part of their message had nothing to do with trophies.
It was what those medals represented.
DNKD UP CREW shared how pickleball has become an important part of Youth Detention programming in their region. Young people in care have embraced the sport with enthusiasm. Talent has surfaced. Confidence has grown. Discipline and teamwork are being built through every rally.
They have also incorporated pickleball into staff mental health days. The court has become a space to reset, reconnect, and strengthen workplace culture.
