Unleash the Double Black Diamond in Action
Take a closer look at the Double Black Diamond paddle, engineered for players who want maximum power without sacrificing precision. This video highlights its advanced features, performance edge, and the type of player it’s built to dominate with.
Wow been using it for a week and love it so far.
Lots of spin, easy and soft at the net. Perfect on speed Up.
Perfect for me
I’ve only been playing pickleball for a few months and came into the sport with no real sports background, so this is purely my experience as a beginner.
And honestly? I really like the DBD. It actually fits my game really well.
I’m still focused on keeping my balls in, improving my drops and backhand, and becoming more consistent rather than trying to overpower everyone. I find the DBD maneuverable, forgiving, and easy to control—and that’s why I eventually became convinced that this is actually my paddle.
My biggest mistake was choosing the Lightweight version. 😂
As I played more, I realized I wanted the same control and maneuverability, but with more stability and just a little more power, especially when playing against power players and blocking/returning harder shots.
Adding tungsten helped a lot and made the paddle feel closer to what I was looking for.
👍 What I Like
✅ Maneuverable and easy to handle
✅ Good control
✅ Forgiving for a beginner
✅ Helps me focus on consistency and placement
✅ Fits my playing style really well
✅ I can see myself growing with this paddle
👎 What I Don’t Like
❌ I chose the Lightweight version, and it ended up being too light for me
❌ I wanted more stability against hard drives
❌ I wanted a little more easy power
❌ The pop isn’t as lively as some paddles I’ve tried
📦 One More Thing: Buying Experience
I got my DBD almost half price because it was on sale, so I definitely feel like I got a great deal on the paddle itself.
But honestly, considering the price and branding, I expected better packaging. Mine didn’t even come in a proper box, which was a little disappointing. It’s a premium paddle, so I think the unboxing experience should feel premium too.
And if you’re ordering from the Philippines, here’s my very important beginner-to-beginner advice:
LEARN TO WAIT. 😂
I was tempted by the express shipping, but it was around ₱1,400, which is a lot just to get your paddle faster. Unless you absolutely need it ASAP, save yourself the shipping cost and wait for regular delivery.
🎾 Final Take
I don’t think I chose the wrong paddle.
I chose the wrong weight. 😂
The more I play, the more convinced I am that the DBD suits my game. I just want a little more weight, stability, and power while keeping the control and maneuverability that I already love.
So if you’re another beginner shopping for a paddle, don’t just ask, “What’s the best paddle?”
Ask yourself:
“What kind of player am I becoming, and what do I actually need from my paddle?”
For me, the answer turned out to be: DBD… just not the Lightweight. 😂🎾

I so love my paddle. It had been a few months now. Has a great grip. But now I have tried the coral and live that too. Best save some money. Now is see an opal is out soon. Oh man.
Well received my new Paddle, an upgrade for me, after 2 years of games. Love the pink, though was not my initial choice. Great customer service too!
Just try out this morning. Great power. Feel so commfortable holding it. Light weight.
No regrets with my choice!
Excellent paddle with the perfect balance of control, power, and spin. It feels comfortable in the hand, has a generous sweet spot, and performs well from anywhere on the court. Highly recommended!
I played with this paddle for several years now And they have consistently given me the power and control that I like. Most recent paddle that I ordered doesn't seem quite as powerful. Perhaps I've outgrown that paddle and I did notice up on receipt of the paddle. The shrink wrap around the handle was yellowed which made me think it might have been in storage for quite some time. I needed the paddle so I kept it. Perhaps I'll try one of the updated models soon.
I love this paddle
It’s not long enough. I need a longer face to generate more spin. My play has significantly suffered I can’t recommend this to my followers
I do not like how the paddle hits and want to return it
My husband LOVES his paddle. It's his third Six Zero and the professional weight is his favorite!

The Six Zero DBD is still a fantastic paddle in today’s market. It offers excellent spin, plenty of power if you have the technique to generate it, and outstanding control for dinks, drops, and drives. It’s one of those paddles that rewards good fundamentals rather than doing all the work for you. Even with so many new releases, the DBD remains a well-balanced, all-court paddle that’s easy to recommend.
Tbh it’s a great paddle would definitely buy again even having some of my friends by from yall
Really nice paddle.
Good gritty and control focused for sure.
I added 3grams at 10 and 2 o’clock for more power and 3grams under the but-cap to bring the swing closer to the handle.
Truly can recommend it to any player that prefers a control type of game.
This is my second double black diamond paddle. The texture and grit on the face is fantastic! One wee in and I won my first tournament. Excellent control and serious top spin!
There’s a very noticeable scratch on the paddle surface.
“I’ve been using the DBD for about a week and my game is already evolving. The control, spin, and confidence this paddle gives me has made a noticeable difference in real play. I’d be honored to test and review more of your products — this one has truly elevated my game.”
The first paddle I have bought and love it. The weight feels so good and my control is so much better than it was using the basic paddle. It has definitely elevated my game already and looking forward to seeing the level I can get to with this paddle.
Great paddle for power! This pickleball paddle is amazing if you’re looking for more power. I’ve tried other brands before, but their sweet spot just wasn’t there. I’m so glad my friend recommended this brand — and I love how cute the color is!
Raquette très satisfaisante sauf pour les rebords qui craquent et se décollent après quelques mois d’utilisation.
Ordering was easy. Shipping was fast! I’ve just used the paddle for one 2 hour session. I have a lot more control especially during serving. I’ve never been able to put so much spin on the ball. I don’t feel that I had to go through any learning curve with it.
Overall great paddle and quite forgiving. The shipment packing could have been better for the price. Got the paddle with its cover in a bubble envelope.
I’ve been playing with a Selkirk S2 Vanguard for a while, but wanted to upgrade my game, so I decided to try the Six Zero Double Black Diamond Control.
This review is based on first impressions — I haven’t pushed the paddle to its maximum yet — so I’m giving it 3.5 stars for now. That rating may evolve as I play more, or I might end up switching paddles altogether.
What I Don’t Like (So Far):
• The stock handle material isn’t for me. It was a quick fix — I added an overgrip with a texture I prefer.
• I picked this paddle mainly to gain more power compared to my Selkirk… but so far, I don’t see it. If anything, it feels a bit less powerful.
• When the paddle gets dirty, you can clearly see the honeycomb underneath. I’m sure it’s fine structurally, but it just looks a bit odd.
What I Do Notice:
• It’s definitely sharper and more precise than my old S2.
• The build feels solid overall.
I’ll keep playing and see how it performs once I’m fully used to it. Time will tell whether it grows on me or if I move on to something else.
I am very new to the game - I have tried several different paddles and ended up ordering the double black diamond based on professional online reviews. Very happy with the product and the level of consistency.
Amazing paddle. Elevated my game! It’s got a fantastic texture, lots of control, make sure to get a paddle eraser too so you can clean it.
I really love this paddle
It feels great in the hand and gives excellent power when serving.
Highly recommended!
3rd day of using the DBD and loving it so far. The control is superb and the elongated handle perfect for two-handed backhand shots!
I guess I’m about a 3.5 - 4.0 player playing rec PB for 5 years and have tried a bunch of paddles in the “affordable” price range- and hands down my Double Black Diamond paddle beats even some big named $300 paddles.
I bought mine and after letting my friends try it, just about everyone in our group is now playing with either the Double Black Diamond or the Black Diamond. (It’s funny during paddle up play to see a row of the same paddles)
I tended to be a blaster but this paddle gave me the confidence to get more into the softer and controlled style game… but there’s still plenty of power for driving serves and overhead slams.
You can see I have a little collection of paddles I’ve progressed through and even though I liked my Vatic Pro, even my wife switched over to 6.0 Double Black Diamond.
There are plenty of glowing reviews on YouTube so I won’t repeat those technical specs. For me the paddle’s light weight and balance make this a fast paddle at the net and the fat sweet spot gives lots of control and placement over other paddles I’ve used. Resets from blasters are pretty easy to take the heat off and put it in the kitchen or pop it back to them with some speed.
The company staff and service is great… which to me only adds to getting one of these paddles a no brainer.
