Ruby Pro 14毫米

This paddle lacks the power and pop of something like the Joola Perseus 4, but you can make up for that with the spin the grit on this paddle provides and relying more on your body to generate added power. I’m used to 16mm paddles, so it took some time to get used to the feel of this paddle, but I’m loving it now. My hands feel quick at the net and I feel I have a lot of control and variability with my drives and drops from the baseline. It’s definitely a step up from the original Ruby and the DBD (my favorite paddle of all time that just couldn’t keep up with Gen 4 paddles). The only knock for this paddle is that it does require me to work physically harder to maximize its potential, which is a good thing, but may not be for everyone.

Coming from the 16mm DBD but wanted more spin and power . Initially loved the upgrade but then felt the lack of control was going to be an issue. The sweet spot was pretty unforgiving. Finally found the right combination of tungsten tape along the sides and lower edges to improve control ability. Noticed a big improvement!

LOVE IT! I had the original Ruby, and this paddle is like the original on steroids. More, power, crazy spin, great control. I added some lead tape to the perimeter and it's perfect. It does collect a lot of ball dust from that extra gritty surface. I've been through 2 Gearbox paddles, Double Black Diamond, and Bantam Paddletek. This is definitely my fave!

Coming from a DBD 16mm its a bit of a learning curve, but once you adjust to the extra pop and power it a fun paddle and adds more to the "tool box"..a fun work in progress ..highly recommend!

I am relatively new to Pickle Ball and am living the saying "All the gear, no idea!" Haha. I can hit the ball ok, certainly not Pro but enjoying using a lovely paddle. The grip sticks to your hand perfectly, the weight is spot on for me and well, it looks great! Comes in a matching neoprene cover to keep her safe. I had to find pink shoes to match!
