I was using an upper tier control paddle, great for control but no pop. I was looking for both and the 16mm, pro weight paddle delivered! It must be excellent balance that makes it feel like a natural extension of my arm and hand. There was no problem dinking, perhaps the extra weight made for a smoother stroke, I'm not sure but there was no popping them up (no more than with my old paddle). The extra power was obvious on serves, smashes and ground strokes. Baseline shots were dropping quickly with topspin. The pro weight worked just fine in firefights. Price was fair compared to other brands, after using discount (ALPHA10). Love this paddle and recommend to anyone!

Great racket. I bought one for myself, my wife tried it while I was out of town. I never got to play with it. Purchased another, then a backup. Love the racket.

I’m starting to adjust to the paddle after applying weighted tungsten tape around the majority of the paddle perimeter. Hits solid and believe I’ll eventually enjoy the paddle with more

I switched from Selkirk Luxx to Elongated and so far very happy.

I upgraded to the Double Black Diamond because I wanted better touch and control to supplement my power. I've found this paddle hits the sweet spot for me and has helped me elevate my game.

This paddle is a perfect upgrade for players looking to add a little swing weight coupled with improved target accuracy and spin. I am very impressed with the design and quality and can't wait to see how my game evolves.

Just received by DBD, have not had a chance to play with it yet as I am nursing a knee injury. I currently use a DBD and love it and thought I would order a second one as a back up I play anywhere from 4 to 6 hours a day, and have been using the paddle for a year now. Several of my friends have ordered new paddles with the new foam technology from competitors, but I am sticking with what works for me. Very satisfied with the DBD, and see no need to try something else.

Excellent elongated paddle that truly enhances your game. It delivers impressive spin and offers great control for dinks. I particularly enjoy using it for spin shots and backhands. Adding a bit of weight at the throat improves the sweet spot even more. Highly recommended for players looking to elevate their performance

This was my second of the same and have loved both. Went back and grabbed an elongated DBD, and I love it even more.

I’m impressed that this paddle is performing exactly as I expected and is designed to do. The spin I put on the ball has improved and my control of shots is getting better and better as a I play more with it. I thought the heavier weight I opted for might be an issue but it’s not. The paddle feels good to me and I have no problem swinging it. I like the paddle and I think it performsexactly what it’s designed and advertised to do.
